--INTRODUCTION:

Thank you for purchasing this PresentationPro PowerPoint
background template. POT's are the standard PowerPoint
template file format that is easy to use and will
quickly update all your current presentation slide
backgrounds.

--FILE LOCATIONS:

If you accept the default location in the the installer
(EXE download only), this is where the file will be
placed. If you choose to copy the files, this is where
they should go:

For Power Point 97/2000/2002(XP)/2003:
c:\program files\microsoft office\templates\

--TEMPLATES:

From PowerPoint, go to 'Format', 'Apply Design'
(XP/2002, 2003 users go to 'Format' -> Slide Design
click on browse link at the bottom of the Design
Template task pane) and choose your 'Templates'
directory from the 'Look in' drop down box.
There will be two files for each template:

    * A text/title design for screen presentations
    * A text/title design optimized for printing,
meaning the central part of the screen is white
to optimize clarity when printing (the print template
can also be used for screen presentations if that
      particular look is desired).

For both designs, the slide background depends on the slide
layout. To change a slide layout right click on the slide
and choose Slide Layout, select the type of slide you wish
to change to, and click Reapply. (The very first slide
layout option is the only one that PowerPoint designates
as a title slide and it is the only one that will give you
the title slide background. Selecting any other slide layout
will give you the text background.)

--ANIMATED TEMPLATES:

Animated templates contain .AVI files (movie files), which
must be saved in the same location as your presentation.
When you apply an animated template, you must copy the .AVI
files from your templates directory and paste them in the
directory where your presentation is saved. If you move your
presentation, you must also move the .AVI files or your
animation will not take place.

--3D CLIP ART:

From PowerPoint, go to 'Insert', 'Picture From File' and
choose your 'Templates' directory from the 'Look in' drop
down box. Double click the 3D Clip Art .TIF file. Once you
have inserted the image in PowerPoint, you may move and
resize the object.

--ANIMATED TITLES:
From PowerPoint, go to 'Insert', 'Movie From File' and
choose your 'Templates' directory from the 'Look in' drop
down box. Double click the Animated Title .AVI file. Once
you have inserted the movie in PowerPoint, you may move and
resize the object. Animated Titles can only be seen in
slide show view.
