PowerPoint 2010: Dynamic Transitions

PowerPoint 2010 introduced a number of new features. Among these new features were new slide transitions. Dynamic slide transitions are possibly the most interesting of the new transition effects in PowerPoint 2010 (these also work in PowerPoint 2011 for Mac). With these new transitions the effect is actually applied to all the text and images on the slide. The background remains static. This gives your content fluid independent movement on and off the screen.

Quick Tip: How to Crop Around an Irregular Shape – PowerPoint Video Tip

How do you crop around an image, removing the background? Especially when the shape you want to keep is not a regular circle, square or triangle? Simple! You draw around the shape using PowerPoint’s drawing tools, then fill the shape as a picture.
